12.00-20.00 I am the Ocean

All aspects of our life are deeply rooted in the ocean. It produces 50 percent of the oxygen we breathe and 15 percent of the food we eat. It protects us against natural disasters and regulates Earth’s climate and weather. So no matter where we live, we are the Ocean. By challenging the ocean through pollution and climate change, we are challenging ourselves. In this activity, we will ask you to be the ocean and propose solutions to help the Ocean and then help yourself. And we’ll eat some shrimp!

Participant: Sam Dupont, Centre for Collective Action Research.
